We started making soap in 2002 after our daughter was diagnosed with eczema. A lot of commercial soaps seemed to irritate her skin and after reading the ingredients we weren't surprised. Even many products that claimed to be natural or gentle had some additives or merely contained some natural extracts along with some other unpronounceable things.

We started giving out bars to friends and family members who became instant converts and have decided to make the soaps available to anyone looking for proper soap made the old fashioned way with high quality ingredients or people simply in need of some extra pampering.

We are not only committed to quality but also to the environment and try to reduce, re-use and recycle whenever possible. Milk and juice cartons are rinsed and used for soap moulds which is why they are a square shape instead of the standard rectangle. And since they are all made by hand the sizes differ slightly, though our bars are approximately 100g in weight when packaged. Our labels are always straightforward so that it's easy to see what is going into your soap and thus onto your skin.
